Proteomic Sample Prep Research Article Citation
ProFACT Proteomics and its partner in research consumables, Biotech Support Group LLC, report on a recent research article which describes the simplicity and efficiency of their proteomic sample preparation technology. The citation is:
Alvarez-Llamas, G, et al. A novel methodology for the analysis of membrane and cytosolic sub-proteomes of erythrocytes by 2-DE. Electrophoresis 2009,30,4095-4108.
This research article sites HemogloBind™ as a “simple, quick and satisfactory approach for hemoglobin depletion…”. It continues to say that “HemogloBind™ was satisfactorily applied to erythrocyte cells, allowing the analysis of the cytosolic sub-proteome by 2-DE without major interference.”
“This validates our unique surface technology approach, not based on antibodies or peptide combinations, as being highly selective and an efficient method for enrichment of low abundance proteins” states Matthew Kuruc, President of ProFACT Proteomics.
About ProFACT Proteomics
