Partnerships typically take the form of a negotiated contribution from both parties, with both sides participating in the results and discoveries.
Fee-for-service relationships are client sponsored research whereby the client enjoys unimpeded, complete and exclusive rights, subject to no further compensation, to exploit all information and discoveries that arise from such research.
Project specific service proposals are generated after consultation with the client with respect to overall project goals, sample types, and the number of samples to be processed.
Basic Enrichment Screening Service. Suitable for soluble protein samples, cytosolic fractions, serum, and/or clarified cellular supernatants. The purpose of this service is to provide an initial identification of one or more productive surfaces for the enrichment of low abundance proteins. Applications for this service would be when low abundance protein enrichment is desirable either globally or specifically; globally for proteomic comparison profiling, or specifically for eventual purification of a pre-identified factor.
After separations with a panel of 6 SeraFILE™ surfaces, Flow-through, Eluate, and Bead-bound sub-proteome pools are delivered back to the client for subsequent analysis by Western blot, enzymatic assay, and/or 1&2 Dimensional Electrophoresis. Sub-proteome pools are generated in duplicates for a total of 36 samples. Initial service fee start at $1,000, and quotations for purification and scale up to 1 mg of purified protein, and/or bulk purchase of selected SeraFILE™ surfaces can follow the basic service.
